In this course you’ll focus on reading and writing skills and expanding your vocabulary in the Arabic language. You’ll read two short stories. The first story is طَويلة , which means ‘Tall (female)’ and the second is عَسَل النّحل ‘Bee’s honey.’ In each lesson you’ll read two pages, translate them and discuss the grammar. In addition to this, you will get reading and writing assignments to do as homework. You are expected to commit considerable time to this. By the end of the course you’ll to formulate the moral messages from the stories in Arabic.

Basic reading and writing skills are required in order to join this course. The lesson will be conducted in فُصحى (Modern Standard Arabic) and the materials will be provided by the teacher.
