Have you taken MSA courses before and are you comfortable using the language? Would you like to take your Arabic language skills to a level in which you can build your own sentences? This advanced MSA course is centered on three topics: ‘Myself and others’, ‘House and home’ and ‘Work and routine’.
In ‘Myself and others’, you’ll learn how to talk about yourself, ask others about themselves, talk about nationality, greetings, and to describe characters. You’ll revise the pronouns (أنا، أَنْتَ، أَنْتِ) in the independent and attached forms. The culture of Egypt is central in this part of the course.
In ‘House and home’ you’ll learn how to talk about rooms, to describe your home, and to discuss the issue of renting. You’ll revise the broken (internal) plurals of Arabic in their common forms and you’ll learn how to combine these with the adjectives. The culture of Saudi Arabia is central in this part of the course.
In ‘Working and routine’ you’ll cover the main vocabulary and expressions related to CV’s, tasks at work, job vacancies, homework and ‘a day in the life of…’. You’ll revise the verbs in the present tense and apply them further to be able to negate the past (with لم) and the future (with لن). The culture of Syria and its traditions are central in this part of the course.
