“And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.” ~ Sylvia Plath
Ever thought about improving your Italian language skills through writing?
When you write, you’re actively doing something with the language, creating something that wasn’t there before. Writing in the target language will give you more control over your current language skills. You will be challenged and your skills will be corrected and improved until you’ve written your own satisfactory masterpiece.
Join us in la stanza degli scrittori and enjoy the most creative use of Italian!
Every other Monday, you will meet with your fellow writers to discuss your writing plans. What will it be: a travel story, a movie review, the story of your most prized possession… You’re in the writers’ room, so it’s your decision!
This course includes four 1-hour meetings (May 10, May 24, June 7 & June 21) + 2/3 hours of homework between sessions.
After each meeting you have 6 days to submit your creation to the teacher, who will check it and send it back to you. You now have 3 more days to correct and improve your text and resubmit it. Any unclear mistakes or other questions will be discussed in the writers’ room during the first 20 minutes of the meeting.
Every month, you and your fellow writers will choose a selection of your creations to publish on the Taalhuis blog!
