Music and Napoli have always had a special bond. In fact, classical Neapolitan music plays a big part in the large cultural heritage of Italy. In these two hours, our Italian teacher Luca will play you some of its most relevant songs and footages, discussing the lyrics and telling anecdotes.

The aim of this lesson is to give the students an overview of this rich and lively tradition, focusing on its golden age (1830-1930), giving some examples of the so called Neapolitan Power, i.e. the contemporary music of Napoli which still has deep roots in its folk music.
