Dutch workshop 'sentence structure' - Taalhuis Amsterdam

Dutch workshop ‘sentence structure’

Many students struggle with the Dutch word order… what is a ‘hoofdzin’, what is a ‘bijzin’, where is the verb, when do we use ‘inversie’, where do we put all these small words like ‘niet’, ‘er’ and ‘me’?

In this workshop we’ll try to make sen(ten)se of it all. We’ll go over the most important rules of sentence structure and of course we’ll practice a lot. The duration of the workshop is 2,5 hours, including a short break.

Additional exercises and a writing assignment will be given and corrected by the teacher within two weeks after the workshop.

This workshop is suitable for students with a B1/B2 level (and of course students with a higher level are also welcome if they can use a refresher!).
