Elisa has been teaching French and Dutch at Taalhuis Amsterdam since 2021. She has different backgrounds, both Swiss and Dutch, which is why she speaks and teaches both languages. She also speaks Spanish, a language she fell in love with when she travelled to South America, and that she studied in University. Elisa also has a degree in Didactics of French as a foreign language.

She loves helping and being around people, so teaching them one of her favorite languages doesn’t feel like work to her. She likes to make links between languages and cultures and understand the learning background of her students. Outside of work, she loves playing the transverse flute, watching movies, reading different kinds of books and being in nature for outdoor sports.
