Are you interested in learning Farsi or improving your language skills? Our Farsi courses will start in the week of 15 September. We are inviting you to join our Farsi open evening on Tuesday, 2 September 2025, at Gerard Doustraat 220.

The Farsi open evening is a perfect opportunity to explore your language learning options at Taalhuis Amsterdam. You’ll learn more about our school and our Farsi courses, and you can join a free trial lesson. If you already speak some Farsi but are unsure which course suits you best, you can book a level intake with our teacher Dorna.

Trial lessons and intakes are completely free. Please reserve your spot in advance.

FAQ

How can I register for a trial lesson or an intake?
Please fill out the registration form with the required information. You will receive the confirmation for each session you signed up for via email the week before the open evening.

What is a level intake?
A level intake is a short appointment with one of our teachers to decide which course or what type of lessons (private or group) offered at Taalhuis Amsterdam would be the most appropriate for your level and needs. It is not an official level assessment exam; you will not take a comprehensive test or get a certificate.

I am a beginner. Do I need an intake?
No, if you are a beginner, your level is A1.1, and you don’t need an intake. You can join an A1.1 trial lesson for beginners.

I am a student at Taalhuis, can I still join?
Of course! The open evening is open for everyone, and we’re happy to welcome our students too.

I am interested in another language, but I don’t see it in the program.
For other Taalhuis languages, we will have a separate on-location open day on Saturday, 30 August. If you cannot make it to our open day, you are very welcome to join our online open evening on Tuesday, 2 September. You find can more information, programmes, and registration forms on the event pages.

Can I schedule an intake for another time?
Yes! If you want to do an intake another time, please send an email to info@taalhuisamsterdam.nl, and we will contact you to make an appointment. It will take approximately 15-20 minutes and will take place on location or online over Zoom.
