Valentina started teaching Italian at Taalhuis Amsterdam in 2025. She studied History of Italian Language and Linguistics in Rome, where she also completed Ditals II (a certification for advanced competence in teaching Italian as a foreign language). After obtaining her master’s degree, she moved to the UK, where she completed a PhD in Italian Studies. She has been teaching Italian language and culture in university for more than ten years.

Valentina initially joined Taalhuis as a Dutch student, and then joined the Taalhuis team. In her free time, Valentina likes reading, listening to podcasts and sad music, going to the cinema and the theatre, and cooking vegetarian and vegan dishes.
