It has been a long cherished dream to bring all our courses to one place where we can grow and bring our teachers and students together. And we finally found this home in the Gerard Doustraat 220, in De Pijp.

Taalhuis Amsterdam, the house for Mediterranean languages and Dutch as a second language  in the heart of Amsterdam, is now located in the vibrant neighbourhood of De Pijp, housed in a historic school building and we’re filling its walls again with a passion for education!

Staying loyal to our warming atmosphere, what was the old gym of the original school features a welcoming café, library, and bookstore, designed to be a space for our community. Whether you’re a student or a neighbour, you’re invited to try our barista skills, explore our little multilingual  library, do your homework or simply relax.

The new location boasts thirteen classrooms (also for rent for your workshop or event!) across two floors, fully equipped with everything teachers and students need for a successful learning experience.

Just steps away from the Albert Cuypmarkt, our team of more than 60 language professionals is  excited to be part of the neighbourhood and to contribute to diverse life of Amsterdam!
