The Business Dutch workshops are for B2+ level students who would like to be better equipped to use the Dutch language in a business environment. The workshops are aimed at speaking, emailing, texting, and meeting at work with an emphasis on communication, tone, and nuance. You can expect to learn many useful sentences to apply at your workplace, as well as some grammar, and vocabulary. You’ll also learn more about the (work)culture in the Netherlands.

In Feedback (Part 1), you will practise giving and receiving positive and negative feedback. We encourage the participants to bring their own material to class (e.g. emails, other written examples, meeting topics from the workfloor) so that we can use them for practice in and outside class. In Part 1, we assign some homework which we will reflect on in Part 2.

We highly recommend purchasing the book ‘De juiste toon’, but it is also possible to participate without it.

This event is divided over two consecutive weeks with two sessions of 90 minutes each. It is not possible to participate in Part 2 without having participated in Part 1.
