Join us on Monday, 17 March to celebrate Chaharshanbe Soori, the Persian Festival of Fire! We will meet at Indebt and welcome spring together!
Chaharshanbe Soori marks the final Tuesday evening of the Persian calendar year. It is a cornerstone of Persian heritage, widely observed by Persian, Azeri, and Kurdish communities in Iran, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Türkiye, as well as throughout the global communities.
In this symbolic ritual, we will grab our drinks, sing, and jump over a small flame representing a spiritual exchange: letting go of the “yellow” (symbol of the hardships and sorrows of the past year) and welcoming the “red” (the warmth, joy, and energy of the fire).
Tuesday 17 March, 18:00-19:30, Govert Flinckstraat 286, 1073 CG
If you want to join, please register below or just pass by! It’s free and open to everyone!
