Diana is a Dutch teacher at Taalhuis Amsterdam. She was trained as a Dutch and English teacher and holds a Master’s degree in Learning Sciences, with an emphasis on educational technology and Blended Learning. Professionally speaking, she can’t think of anything more enjoyable than teaching Dutch or English to students from all walks of life.

Diana lives in Amsterdam. Besides her work as a teacher, she is a pop and soul singer. She has been singing in cover bands for years, often with colleagues. This brings fond memories, from gigs and practicing in cramped rehearsal spaces to beers with the band. In winter, Diana can also often be found on the ice rink – ‘pootje over’ remains a challenge – and in summer in the swimming pool.

Diana loves to travel with her family (although ‘vliegschaamte’ tends to get in the way these days). They traveled together to New Zealand, where they visited family and enjoyed the stunning scenery and the company of lovely people.
