Amsterdam Light Festival with Taalhuis Amsterdam

Practice your Dutch while walking the Amsterdam Light Festival route with us

Come and join our Dutch teacher Yoran on a walk through winterly Amsterdam, and discover the beautiful artworks of Amsterdam Light Festival along the way. Taking place every winter, this event enlightens your world with kinetic installations, sculptures in the canals and other types of light art. During this 6.5 km walk you won’t just get to know these artworks, but also practice your Dutch by doing all kinds of activities. Glühwein/tea/coffee are included!

For joining this tour, it’s recommended to buy the digital walking map (€ 7,5) of the Amsterdam Light Festival. This map gives you the possibility to follow the route via your smartphone and get to know everything about the artworks and artists. (It’s also a way to support the festival: the light artworks are placed in the public space and can be freely admired by everyone, so the festival is dependent on these kinds of contributions.)

On Saturday 7 January, we’ll gather at Muiderstraat 24 at 17:00.

This event is fully booked. Keep an eye on our events page to stay informed about similar events in the future!
