French grammar workshop – Passé composé vs. imparfait - Taalhuis Amsterdam

French grammar workshop – Passé composé vs. imparfait

“Quand j’avais 10 ans, alors que je me promenais dans la forêt j’ai vu un ours immense.”

The passé composé and the imparfait de l’indicatif are the two most important verb forms used when talking about the past in French.

In this workshop, you will freshen up your conjugaison of the passé composé and the imparfait, and explore when and how to use them. You will practise a lot by playing games, writing short texts, and speaking about experiences in the past.

Saturday 16 January 2027, 15:00-18:00, Gerard Doustraat 220

The duration of the workshop is 3 hours (including a short break), and it is suitable for all those who’ve finished A2.1 and above. Learners with a higher level are also welcome if they can use a refresher. When you sign up for the workshop, please indicate in the comments whether you’re a Taalhuis student and your French proficiency level, so that we can plan the activities accordingly.
