From 19 September until 19 December 2025 Taalhuis Amsterdam will host an exhibition, organised by the Embassy of Greece, dedicated to the fabulous cartoons from Greece’s English Language Monthly ‘The Athenian’, which featured mini Greek language lessons in the form of cartoons from 1974 – 1993.

Join us for a festive opening on 19 September at 17:30 in the presence of  H.E. Ms. Caterina Ghini, Ambassador of Greece, Mr. Stephen Elliot, son of Mr. Sloane Elliot, owner and editor of the magazine, Mr. Kosmas Iliopoulos, owner of Grecophile.
