Dani Broncano - Taalhuis Amsterdam

Dani Broncano

Dani was born in Extremadura, a region in southeastern Spain. From a very young age, guided by his passion for literature and film, he was very clear that he wanted to dedicate himself to telling stories. That’s why he studied Audiovisual Communication and followed several creative writing courses.

He trained to be a Spanish teacher in 2018 and since then he has lived in Eindhoven and Amsterdam (Netherlands), Barcelona (Spain), Athens (Greece) and Portland (Oregon, USA), where he has worked in various language schools. He loves it when students not only learn but also have fun. One of his goals is to create a friendly, creative, and enthusiastic classroom environment for everyone.

He combines teaching with his other great passion: writing. He is the author of four reading books for Spanish students, a collection of stories from level A1 to B2. In addition, in September 2025 he published his first young adult novel, “Malospelos”, which won the Todo Mejora 2025 and Tinta y Pluma 2026 literary awards for best LGBTQ+ themed young adult novel.
