Every language is a source of unique knowledge and cultural expression. Smaller languages, in particular, offer us new perspectives on the world. They give words to cultural particularities, reveal how people relate to one another, and how a community shapes its identity.
In the series About Spoken Languages, five scholars each shed light on a small or lesser-known language.
