The Business Dutch workshops are for B2+ level students who would like to be better equipped to use the Dutch language in a business environment. The workshops are aimed at speaking, emailing, texting, and meeting at work with an emphasis on communication, tone, and nuance. You can expect to learn many useful sentences to apply at your workplace, as well as some grammar, and vocabulary. You’ll also learn more about the (work)culture in the Netherlands.
In this Making and Declining Requests Politely Part 2, we will elaborate on how to make and/or decline requests in a polite way and reflect on the homework assigned in Part 1.
We highly recommend purchasing the book ‘De juiste toon’, but it is also possible to participate without it.
This event is divided over two consecutive weeks with two sessions of 90 minutes each. It is not possible to participate in Part 2 without having participated in Part 1. If you would like to follow all Business Dutch workshops, you can also purchase the season ticket which includes both Making and Declining Requests Politely Part 1 and Part 2 and Feedback Part 1 and Part 2.
