The verb is the boss in a sentence and tells us who is doing something, at what time, and sometimes even in which ‘mood’ someone is doing something! And in Greek, the verb can also express the ‘aspect’, often described as ‘the type of action’: is the action still in progress, or are we talking about a single, finished event?
This grammar workshop is dedicated to the Greek aspect (όψη), and we will tackle questions such as “When do we use αόριστος and when παρατατικός?” and “When do we use απλός μέλλοντας and when συνεχής μέλλοντας?”. In this 3-hour session, we will give you guidelines, many examples, and plenty of exercises to put your grammar skills into practice.
