This group welcomes children aged 4–6 who are in the first years of primary school. No prior knowledge of Greek is needed, though familiarity with the language is always welcome.

In this language immersion playgroup, children explore the Greek language through playing, listening to stories, singing, dancing and crafting together – all in Greek! The lessons aim to help children to recognise words, sounds and patterns, and to start using Greek naturally in simple phrases. Each lesson has a theme relevant to the life of young children, such as colours, numbers, shapes, school supplies, family, fruits & vegetables, and fairy tales. The course uses classroom materials that allow plenty of space for creativity and movement to enhance a child’s learning journey.
