Would you like to take your Egyptian Arabic to the next level?
In this course, you’ll continue building on your skills from B1.2 as you move toward becoming an independent user of the language. You will deepen your understanding of complex sentence structures and learn to express yourself more naturally and precisely in different contexts.
You will learn to use active and passive participles, verbal nouns, and a variety of connectors to link ideas and express nuanced relationships between clauses, such as cause, condition, contrast, and purpose. You will also work with more advanced conditional and descriptive structures, helping you describe events and possibilities more clearly and fluently.
As in the previous levels, the focus will be on communication and interaction in real-life situations, with plenty of room for conversation and practice in class. The Arabic script will be used throughout.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
– Use complex sentence structures to express cause, condition, and contrast
– Use active and passive participles and verbal nouns naturally in conversation
– Talk about cause and effect, exceptions, and hypothetical situations
– Build longer, more coherent spoken and written texts using connectors
– Understand and use more idiomatic expressions and slang
