Do you want to practice your English while reading an engaging book? Are you between 10 and 14 years old? Then this book club is for you! In this course you will read ‘Wonder’ by R.J. Palacio.

‘Wonder’ by R.J. Palacio follows August ‘Auggie’ Pullman, a 10-year-old boy with Treacher Collins syndrome, as he starts fifth grade at a new school. Struggling with his facial differences, we follow Auggie’s journey at his new school. The novel shifts between Auggie’s perspective and those of others, including his sister Via, her boyfriend, and his new friends, exploring themes of acceptance, kindness, and the challenges of living with a visible difference.

Every week you will read a few chapters of the book. Through conversation and questions provided by the teacher, you will get to practice your English and share your views on the story while playing games and doing other activities in class related to the theme of the book.
