Is your child already familiar with the Hebrew alphabet? Our Hebrew teachers will teach your child how to read and write words, full sentences and, in time, also short stories. Children will also learn to speak freely and learn new words to express themselves. The lesson is filled with Hebrew songs, books and games. This course is created specifically for children who have at least one parent/caretaker whose native language is Hebrew. Our reading & writing programme consists of three courses. In the course reading & writing – part I, children will learn the vowels segol-tzere and chirik (סגול צירה וחיריק), learn how to read 4 and more letter words and practise with writing letters and words.

The course reading & writing – part II focuses on the last two vowels (חולם וקובוץ שורוק), cholam and kubutz-shuruk. Furthermore, this course will continue focusing on how to read 4 and more letter words and learning how to write new words.

In the course reading & writing – part III we will start losing the vowels (i.e. your child will start reading without the vowel signs /symbols). Moreover, your child will start reading and writing their first sentences and even short stories.
