Bones! Com va això? With nearly 10 million speakers, Catalan isn’t just spoken in Catalonia. 40 percent of the Valencian community speak Catalan (though there it’s called ‘Valencian’), 73 percent of those in the Balearic Islands, and 34 percent of Andorra (where it’s the only official language). Even 6 percent of people living in the Languedoc-Roussillon area of France speak the language. So there are plenty of places where it would be helpful to speak una mica de català!
We teach private lessons and in small groups, our teachers are native speakers and speak as much Catalan as possible during the lessons, and so will you! You’ll also get to know the Catalan culture through music, movies, news and other materials provided by your teacher. Fins aviat!
Two new courses will start in September!
You can find the schedule below. If you have any questions, or if you’re interested in a level we do not currently offer, please let us know: if more people are interested in the same, we’d be happy to add a group! Please contact us at info@taalhuisamsterdam.nl or check our FAQ’s!
