In the last lecture of this season’s series about ancient languages, dr. Willemijn Waal will return to our Taalhuis (she opened our series in October 2016!). She will provide an overview of the major languages of the ancient Near East and their interrelationships in the 2nd and 1st millennium BC. in Mesopotamia, Anatolia, Egypt and Greece and the Levant.
