Dutch grammar workshop – Sentence structure

Many students struggle with the word order in Dutch sentences: what is a hoofdzin, what is a bijzin, where is the verb, when do we use inversie, and where do all these small words like niet, er, and mee go?

In this workshop, you’ll try to make sen(ten)se of it all. You’ll go over the most important rules of sentence structure and of course, practise a lot. The duration of the workshop is 3 hours, including a short break.

15 February, 14:00-17:00, at Gerard Doustraat 220

This workshop is suitable for students at B1+ level. Of course, more advanced students are also welcome if they can use a refresher. Additional homework exercises and a written assignment will be given and corrected by the teacher within two weeks after the workshop.

Speaking a new language can be scary and hard, but our student Mylinda came up with the best motto: “Ik doe het toch, met moed!”
