Written in haste in a six-week period, L’elisir d’amore was the most often performed opera in Italy between 1838 and 1848 and has remained continually in the international opera repertory. Today it is one of the most frequently performed of all Donizetti’s operas.

In each meeting our Italian teachers, Anna and Paula, will talk about the historical context, the figure of the author and the plot of the work. Of course, there will be enough space to listen and study some of the most famous arias. The course is in Italian.
