The Hebrew courses will start the week of 12 January. Are you interested in learning Hebrew or improving your language skills? We invite you to join our Hebrew open day on Thursday, 8 January 2026, at Gerard Doustraat 220.

During the open day, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about our school and our Hebrew courses, and you can join a free trial lesson. If you already speak some Hebrew but are unsure which course suits you best, you can book a level intake with our teacher Naama.

The event is completely free. Please reserve your spot in advance.

FAQ

How can I register for a trial lesson or an intake?
Please fill out the registration form with the required information. You will receive the confirmation for each session you signed up for via email the week before the open evening.

What is a level intake?
A level intake is a short appointment with one of our teachers to decide which course or what type of lessons (private or group) offered at Taalhuis Amsterdam would be the most appropriate for your level and needs. It is not an official level assessment exam; you will not take a comprehensive test or get a certificate.

I am a beginner. Do I need an intake?
No, if you are a beginner, your level is A1.1, and you don’t need an intake. You can join the A1.1 trial lesson.

I am a student at Taalhuis, can I still join?
Of course! The open day is open for everyone, and we’re happy to welcome our students too.

Can I schedule an intake for another time?
Yes! If you want to do an intake another time, please send an email to info@taalhuisamsterdam.nl, and we will contact you to make an appointment. It will take approximately 15-20 minutes and will take place on location or online over Zoom.
