Francesca has been teaching Italian at Taalhuis Amsterdam since 2018. She comes from the vibrant city of Palermo, Sicily, and has a passion for good food, different cultures, harbours and boats, so after wandering around Europe she found Amsterdam was the right place to settle down.

At Taalhuis she teaches Italian and prepares the students who attend the CILS exams, during which she also supports them with warm coffee and bad jokes.
She is also the coordinator of the Turkish department, combining her love for Turkey and the Turkish language with her didactical background and amazing organisational and excel skills.
