Johannes has been a Dutch teacher at Taalhuis Amsterdam since 2018. Besides teaching, he helps out with the onboarding of new teachers and he is also a student at Taalhuis’ Italian and Spanish departments. He holds a Research Master’s degree in Dutch literature, which makes it no surprise he also organises the B2+ book club on the highlights of Dutch literature.

Although he is quite bookish (like most Taalhuis teachers), some of his favourite activities are in fact the ones where students can leave their books at home, such as the intercambios (or language exchanges) and the Taalhuisborrels.
