Mark joined Taalhuis Amsterdam from the early beginning in 2015 and teaches Dutch. In addition Mark studied English Language and Literature at the University of Leiden and was part of an exchange program with the University of Cork in 2002. He is therefore also certified to teach and translate English.

Mark believes that learning a new language is both a personal process and a social activity. Fun, questions, and feedback are the most important tools to shape the classroom experience!

Next to teaching Mark loves to go for a run and he is an important energizer of the Taalhuis running events, making colleagues enthusiastic to join runs in the Vondelpark or Sloterplas!
