Phaidra studied Dutch language and culture and Dutch as a second language. The thing she enjoys most about teaching Dutch is that there is a lot of joy and laughter with students. When people become excited about their own skills and progress, it makes her very happy.

When she’s not working for Taalhuis, Phaidra loves to travel to faraway destinations. On her travels, she tries to visit as many museums as possible and spends just as much time walking in nature or reading a book in front of her tent. She’s the type of person who sometimes – against her will – jumps into cold water and then doesn’t want to get out because she actually enjoys it so much. She also knows an incredible amount of Disney songs by heart (most of them in Dutch, though).
