Pierfrancesco has been an Italian teacher at Taalhuis Amsterdam since 2017. He started teaching in 2001 and at the same time he followed his passion for art, graduating from the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and Royal Academy of Art in the Hague.

To combine his two passions, Pierfrancesco has set up the specific course ‘Italiano con l’arte’. This is an art-themed conversation course in which he teaches new and useful words to describe what you see in a work of art. Through conversation and lexical activities new vocabulary and opinions can be learned on the works of famous artists like Giotto, Piero della Francesca and Caravaggio.
