Born in Touraine, Shirley arrived in Amsterdam in 2000 after her studies of French Modern Literature in Paris. In 2007, she finished her master of French for foreigners and started to teach. Next to her work as a teacher, she also runs a foundation for bilingual children, that offers recreational and cultural activities for French speaking children and their families.

In her free time, she loves reading, going to the cinema and concerts and doing creative activities with her daughters. She is really happy to join the multicultural team of Taalhuis and share her love for the French language and culture with her students.
