In our book club Classico you’ll read the classics of the Italian literature of the 20th century and ‘future classics’: newly published works. In this class you will find a great variety of language input – from the book, the group and the teacher – and you will talk about different themes and topics with other students as passionate about Italian literature and culture as you are. Your homework is to read a few chapters of the book every week (around 35 pages per week) which, during the lesson, you will discuss with the group. You will be challenged by engaging activities themed around the book, the language and the characters. The Classico book club is the perfect way to practice Italian in an interesting and exciting way.

This course is suitable for students with a B2 level and higher.

This is a hybrid course: you can follow the lessons either at school or online from your home or anywhere else. You only need to let your teacher know where you will be for the following lesson so that they can take that into account to prepare suitable activities for you and the rest of the group.
