Would you like to know the ins and outs of Italian wines and would you like to taste them while you listen to matching stories about wine? During the Wine Tasting at the Taalhuis language Festival dr. Ivo Wolsing and Femmes de Vin Angela Winters and Joan Damen will take you on a trip through wine stories from antiquity until the early modern time.

When was wine mentioned in texts for the first time? What is the role of wine in poetry? And what do we know of the early stages of wine making? We find the answers to these questions in Greek, Latin and Arabic texts that survived the past centuries.
