Everything you need to know about our Open Days

Do you want to learn a new language, but not quite sure where to start? Come to our open days! Or come to our open weekend to be precise, because at the beginning of September we have three days in which you can get to know the school, follow trial lessons and have a personal intake to assess your level.

On Thursday we will start with the online open evening, and Saturday we will continue with the open day on location, including an open day for children in the morning and a borrel at 3:30 pm – also known as the Babel borrel, since it will probably be a potpourri of different languages and everyone will get their own name card:

On Sunday it’s time for the open day for Italian and Latin courses (including children’s courses), and the piccolo mercato italiano: a small market where you can taste Italian delicacies and browse through Italian books. And at 5.30 pm there will also be a cooking workshop with Italian teacher Michela!

Where exactly do you need to be for which language? And how do you register for trial lessons and intakes? You can read it all here!

The places in the trial lessons are limited, so register on time if you want to secure your spot! A few days before the open day, we will send you the zoom link and/or exact location of your trial lesson(s).

How and where can I get an intake?
If you are a beginner, an intake is not necessary. If you already have a (small) base, you can schedule a (free) intake with a teacher, so that we can determine your exact level and give you personal advice about our courses. You can come by on Saturday or Sunday, or make an appointment by leaving your details in the same form. In that case we will contact you later. An intake takes about 15 to 20 minutes and can take place on location or online (via Zoom).

Do you have any questions? Do not hesitate to send an email to info@taalhuisamsterdam.nl

Hope to see you at one of the open days!
