Are you looking for a place where your child can learn Arabic? In playful and interactive lessons children will take their first steps in the Arabic language (al-3arabiyyah), with a focus on Modern Standard Arabic. Our Arabic teacher Heba will teach your child the Arabic alphabet and familiarise them with the sounds and symbols of the language using songs, flash cards, story books, and games. Our alphabet programme consists of two courses. Scroll down to see which part(s) we offer in the upcoming trimester.

From alif أ to SaD ص . by the end of the course Alphabet – part I, children will be able to recognise and pronounce 14 out of 28 of the Arabic letters and they will have learnt many words with these letters.

From DaD ض to ya’ ي. In the course Alphabet – part II, children will learn to recognize and pronounce the next 14 letters of the Arabic alphabet. In this course children will also start writing separate letters as well as short words.

This course uses the book ‘Toekomstreeks: Geletterdheid (Voorbereidend Niveau 1) – سلسلة المستقبل : تعليم القراءة والكتابة (المستوى التحضيري 1)’.
