The Darija 2.1 course is designed for students who can already navigate through everyday conversations in Darija, and seek to further develop their proficiency. The lessons of this course are centered around the themes of history, language, and education, providing a stimulating context to expand your vocabulary and grammar.
You will refine your use of the present tense for weak verbs. In addition, you will learn how to describe a repeated action in the past (using ‘kan’), as well as the past tense of strong and weak verbs. You will learn how to express surprise and have discussions.

In addition, you will learn all about the different languages and varieties of Darija spoken in Morocco, and the different regions in which these are spoken – offering you the opportunity to learn more about the geography of the country. You will also learn about Moroccan modern history, and the Moroccan educational system.
