Do you already have some basic skills in Egyptian? Are you able to introduce yourself, to talk a bit about yourself and your family and to describe places in simple sentences? Can you order in a restaurant and are you able to read and write some simple Arabic words? In this course, you will continue to develop your Egyptian-Arabic language skills. You will expand your vocabulary with colors, body parts, clothing and means of transport. You will also learn how to express wants and needs, compare things and speak about events in the present tense using the active participle. At the same time, you will practice your writing skills and start reading short dialogues in Arabic script.
The course is very practical in nature and active participation is encouraged and required of you. While you practice all your language skills during class, special emphasis is put on developing your communication and interaction skills to deal with real-life situations.
