If you already have a good grasp on Italian grammar and different linguistic structures, but want to practice speaking and applying that knowledge, this is the perfect course for you. You’ll work in pairs and groups so that everybody will have a lot speaking time and you’ll discuss the Italian way of life and society. You will take on different roles and learn to defend your opinion, express disagreement or doubts, formulate hypotheses and express emotions. A wide variety of subjects will be proposed during the course and by the end you will feel comfortable having an authentic Italian conversation!
There are two short conversation courses each semester, that can be followed separately or in random order.
In part I the topics are: identity, living/housing, art & culture, travels, news and literature & cinema.
In part II the topics are: identity, politics & society, art & culture, science & education, (voluntary) work and nature & sustainability.
This short conversation course requires an (almost) finished B2 level or higher. You’ll get suggestions and tips for things to do at home, but you can follow this course without doing any homework.
