Do you already speak Italian at a near-native speaker level and do you want to use it regularly to maintain your present skills? Have you already followed the standard courses covering all Italian grammar and would you like to review some aspects of the language while also reading interesting texts and discussing current affairs and topics in Italian?

This course is meant to help you keep up your Italian, and to give you many chances to use the language in various contexts and interactions. You will read newspaper articles and literature extracts, you will listen to interviews and debates and analyse the structures and vocabulary used in these contexts. Together with the other students you will prepare presentations and discuss different important subjects in Italian culture. You will focus on different language registers and the vocabulary needed, and you will work on your accuracy trying to achieve real native speaker level skills.

This course will cover some of the most important structures and grammar forms of C2 level, but it will also welcome specific requests from the participants.

This course covers chapter 6-9 of ‘Nuovissimo progetto Italiano 4’.
