Do you already have a solid knowledge of the vocabulary and grammar of the Egyptian dialect and do you know how to read and write the Arabic alphabet? Would you like practise speaking without studying new structures and verb tenses? In this B1+ course you’ll put into practice what you’ve learnt and will work on using vocabulary and grammar in an engaging and active way. This course consists of a lot of pairs and group work to ensure that each student has maximum speaking time and you will simulate different kinds of situations you might encounter in Egyptian society and you’ll discuss a variety of topics!
There are two short conversation courses each semester, that can be followed separately or in random order.
In part 1 of this course the topics are: identity, health & lifestyle, travelling, work and education.
In part 2 of this course the topics are: language, environment, relationships, money, art and future dreams.
This short conversation course requires an (almost) finished B1 level or higher. You’ll get suggestions and tips for things to do at home, but you can follow this course without doing any homework.
