Are you interested in learning a new language? Would you like the opportunity to meet our teachers, learn more about our school and language courses, and experience a trial lesson before making a decision? We invite you to join us for our open day on Saturday, September 2nd at Tweede Schinkelstraat 26!

During the open day, you’ll have the chance to join trial lessons for various Taalhuis languages and attend intake sessions to determine your language proficiency level before signing up for a course. It’s a perfect opportunity to explore your language learning options and make an informed choice!

Trial lessons and intake sessions are completely free and you can join as many sessions as you want! During the day, you can join our Mediterranean market where various cultures across the Mediterranean basin will be represented and you can enjoy Sardinian delicacies by Pasta Paradijs, buy pottery and jewelry from Fusionne, handmade jewelry from Broche Magique, enrich your library with Greek books from Diavazo, and explore traditional Turkish Çini art with beautifully painted ceramics by Betulstudio. And after the trial lessons, you can further practice the languages you are learning during our language borrel.

Registrations are closed but you can walk in during the day and join the sessions as long as there’s availability! Or have a look at the schedule of the Online Open Evening on 5 September!

How to register for the trial lessons and a level assessment
Registrations are closed but you can walk in during the day and join the sessions as long as there’s availability! Or have a look at the schedule of the Online Open Evening on 5 September! If you want to learn your level but cannot join the open day, you can send an email to info@taalhuisamsterdam.nl and we will contact you to make an appointment. It will take approximately 15-20 minutes and take place on location or online (arranged via Zoom).
