If you would like to experience an online classroom experience or if you cannot attend the on-location open day on 15 December, you are very welcome to join us on 17 December, Tuesday for a virtual learning experience to have the opportunity to meet our teachers, learn more about our school and language courses, and experience a trial lesson before making a decision.

During the Open Evening, you’ll have the chance to join online trial lessons for various Taalhuis languages and attend online intake sessions to determine your language proficiency level before signing up for a course. It’s a perfect opportunity to explore your language learning options and make an informed choice!
Trial lessons and intake sessions are completely free and you can join as many sessions as you want. The sessions will be done via Zoom.

How can I register for a trial lesson or an intake?
Please fill out the registration form with the required information. You will receive the confirmation for each session you signed up for via email the week before the open day.
What is an intake?
An intake is a short appointment with one of our teachers to decide which course or what type of lessons (private or group) would be the most appropriate for your level and needs. Unlike a level assessment, you will not take a comprehensive test or get a certificate.
I want to learn Catalan/Hebrew/Spanish but I don’t see it on the open evening schedule. Don’t you offer Catalan/Hebrew/Spanish courses?
We do! You can join our on-location open day on 15 December for Hebrew and Spanish trial lessons and intakes. Or email us at info@taalhuisamsterdam.nl to schedule a level intake for another time.
I am a student at Taalhuis, can I still join?
Of course! The open evening is open for everyone and we’re happy to welcome our students too. If you want to enroll in a course but are not sure about your level, you can have an intake or join trial lessons to have a sneak peek of the courses you want to join.
I can’t make it to the open evening, will there be another one?
If you cannot make it to our online open evening, you are very welcome to join us for the on-location open day on 15 December.
Can I schedule an intake for another time?
Yes! If you want to take an intake but cannot join the open day, please send an email to info@taalhuisamsterdam.nl and we will contact you to make an appointment. It will take approximately 15-20 minutes and take place on location or online over Zoom.
