Are you already familiar with the passé composé and the imparfait? Have you met Dr and Mrs Vanderkampp? Perhaps you already know how to conjugate them, but do you know when to use them?

In this workshop, French teacher Charlotte will freshen up your conjugaison of the passé composé and the imparfait, before exploring when and how to use them. You will look towards French cinéma for metaphors to help us understand. We will practise a lot by playing games, writing short texts, and speaking about experiences in the past.

The duration of the workshop is 3 hours (including a short break) and it is suitable for all those who’ve finished A2.1 and above. Additional exercises and a writing assignment will be given and corrected by the teacher within two weeks after the workshop.
